Scholarships
Most Scholarships will be available the spring semester of your senior year.
Schwartze Scholarships: These scholarships are based on academic preparation and achievement, moral character, leadership, motivation, and the desire to further their education . The student must intend to further their education on a full-time basis at a university, college, or technical school. Students who qualify will submit an application and an essay. Then they will be interviewed by the Schwartze committee. For more information on the list of qualifications please see Mrs. Birmingham
Heritage Community Bank Scholarship: Any student can complete the application for this scholarship. Students who are awarded this scholarship must begin college the September following graduation.
Chamois Lions Club Community Service Scholarship: This scholarship is based on the activities you have been a part of in your community and school. This also requires a letter of recommendation by a teacher.
PTO Scholarship: Eligibility is determined by PTO regulations and three recommendation letters are required. The recipient has to attend the fall semester of school immediately following graduation.
E.E. Turner Memorial Scholarship: This application requires a list of activities you participated in through the school, community, and academic honors. A letter of recommendation from a teacher is also required.
Chamois Masonic Scholarship: Please see Mrs. B for an application with all the requirements listed.
White-Boss Scholarship: Students who apply for this scholarship must meet several requirements to be able to qualify. They must have taken a college placement exam. Have a GPA of 3.0 from 9-12 grades. Other qualifications are also taken into consideration. Students are required to have character evaluation forms and write an essay. They will also go through an interview process.. This year the scholarship will be 4,000
The Z Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is in memory of Zac Honey. Students need to have exemplary high school attendance. Good academic standing, minimum GPA of 2.5 , and be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university immediately following graduation.
